How do I collect the samples without a professional?
We’ve designed our kits to be foolproof. Each box comes with simple, step-by-step instructions and all the tools you need—whether it’s a water vial, an air collection badge, or a dust swab. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete a full home collection. No science degree required.
What exactly are you testing for?
We analyze over 100 risk markers across three key pillars: Water, Air, and Materials. This includes "forever chemicals" (PFAS), microplastics, heavy metals like lead and copper, harmful bacteria (Legionella), and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that off-gas from paint and furniture.
Do I need to move furniture or damage walls to test?
Not at all. All our tests are non-invasive. We collect surface dust, tap water, and ambient air samples. There is no drilling, scraping, or damage to your property.
How accurate are these tests?
We use the same UKAS and ISO-certified laboratories that conduct environmental testing for hospitals. The only difference is that we have optimized the collection process to be done by you, at home.
How long does it take to get my Health Score?
Once you post your samples back in the pre-paid box, it typically takes 7–10 business days for the lab to process them. You will receive an email as soon as your personalized dashboard is ready to view.
I don't have a science background. Will I understand the report?
Absolutely. We don't just give you a spreadsheet of confusing numbers. We translate your data into a clear "Home Health Score" and use a simple traffic-light system (Green, Amber, Red) to highlight risks. If a marker is high, we explain exactly what it is and why it matters in plain English.
What happens if you find something dangerous?
Finding a risk is the first step to fixing it. Your report comes with a tailored "Action Plan" that prioritizes quick wins and long-term fixes. For serious issues, your membership includes a consultation with an environmental health expert who can guide you on remediation steps or filter recommendations
Can I share these results with my landlord or doctor?
es. Your dashboard allows you to export official, lab-certified PDF reports. These are valid proof of environmental conditions and can be used to request repairs from landlords or to discuss unexplained symptoms with your healthcare provider.
Why should I test my home if I feel fine?
Many environmental toxins—like microplastics, lead dust, or colorless gases—are invisible and odorless. They can accumulate in your body over years before symptoms appear. Think of Dweller like a regular blood test, but for your environment; it’s about proactive prevention, not just reacting to illness.
Is this a subscription or a one-off test?
We offer both. You can purchase a single "Nest Test" for a snapshot of your home’s health. However, because air and water quality fluctuate with seasons and renovations, we recommend the "Sanctuary" annual membership, which includes re-testing to track improvements over time.
Do you cover homes outside of the UK?
Currently, we are fully operational within the UK. We are working on regulatory approval for EU and US expansion. Join our waitlist to be the first to know when we launch in your region.
Is my data private?
Your privacy is paramount. Your home data is encrypted and strictly confidential. We never share your specific results or address with insurance companies, landlords, or third parties without your explicit consent.
